KOOS Edelmetalle - company history

1980 - Company founded by Sven-Michael Koos in Nagold in Germany's Black Forest, with its business areas in precious metal recycling and gold jewellery.
1983 - Incorporation, extension of the business areas to semi-finished products.
1988 - Company relocated to Stuttgart, development of the dental division.
1996 - Company relocated to Renningen between Stuttgart and Pforzheim at a convenient location, development of the individual business areas.
2015-2016 - Modernisation and extension of the smelting works and analysis laboratories (ERP-controlled processes and material documentation), development of our own online customer portal with integrated jewellery and investment shop.
2019-2023 - Sustainable modernization through the use of the most advanced building and security technology and renewable energies in all areas. Including LED lighting, digital access control, surveillance technology, exhaust air technology with flexible air flow, intelligent building control and much more.
